Celebrating Daniela and Brendan 

Life on the YWAM Liberty is filled with people who give their all to serve. Over the past months, two of our crew members, Daniela and Brendan, have done exactly that.

Daniela has been faithfully serving in hospitality, making sure our crew and guests feel at home on board. Brendan has been a huge help in night watch and has stepped into many other roles, even helping with hospitality when needed. Both of them have worked hard and carried a servant heart that has blessed the entire YWAM Ships community.

Now, it is time for them to step into the next chapter of their journey with YWAM! 

In Youth With A Mission (YWAM), the Discipleship Training School (DTS) is a foundational course designed to equip individuals to know God more deeply and to make Him known. DTS combines classroom teaching, small group discipleship, and hands-on outreach. It is a place where young people grow in their relationship with Jesus, learn how to share the Gospel, and discover how to live out their faith in practical ways.

Completing a DTS is also the key step for those who feel called to continue serving with YWAM long-term. Both Daniela and Brendan have been prayerfully considering their next steps, and they believe the Lord is calling them to pursue a DTS with YWAM Yonki.

For Daniela and Brendan, this decision is about more than personal growth. It is about responding to God’s call to be missionaries, people who are willing to go wherever He sends them and to carry His hope into the nations. DTS will give them the training and foundation they need to step into greater responsibility and ministry opportunities in the future.

Cheering Them On

We could not be more proud of these two. They are young, passionate, and committed to making an impact in their communities and beyond. Their willingness to serve tirelessly on the YWAM Liberty has already left a mark, and now we get to cheer them on as they take this important step forward.

As a ship community, we are grateful to have been part of their journey so far and excited to see how God will use them through their DTS and beyond.

Daniela and Brendan, thank you for serving with all your hearts. We celebrate you and champion you as you continue to follow God’s call.
