The western portion of the Marshall Islands are the most remote and cut off from all manner of services. As far as we know we are the only ones attempting to reach all the islands in this part of the northern Pacific. YWAM Ships Kona is committed to reaching islands even if there are only a handful of families living there. We believe in the value of the individual and that everyone has the right to receive fundamental healthcare, life skills, and receive a Bible in their language.

Previously called the m/v Claymore II, the m/v YWAM Koha is a strong and versatile ship. Having spent the last decade as the only delivery vessel to the people who live on the Pitcairn Islands, she was gifted to YWAM Ships Aotearoa in March of 2019. This koha (Maōri for gift), represents the Creator God’s heart for isolated people’s throughout the Pacific. With the m/v YWAM Koha’s unique capacity to carry both people and containers, we are currently working on converting containers to be modern and well equipped medical suites.

In one day, we can access well over fifty villages that are completely isolated from regular access. Reaching them on land would require a four-day trip, with two days of hiking. With our boats we can pull alongside the shore, drop the anchor and immediately engage.

is a 60m, 1520 tonne, twin-hulled cruise liner built in 1999, refitted as a training, medical and operational ship. Equipped with a dentistry clinic, day procedure unit, laboratory, four patrol tenders, and accommodation for over 130 volunteers, the vessel acts as a mother ship supporting extensive land-based activities (multiple patrols running simultaneously) in Papua New Guinea.

is operated by YWAM Ships Catalina Island, 26 miles off the Los Angeles coast running schools and camps at Emerald Bay and Avalon. Outreaches are to Baja Mexico.

33m, 145 tonnes, operated by YWAM Ships Mazatlan, Mexico, navigates among the isolated and unreached people groups of Mexico and the Pacific Rim, addressing physical, emotional and spiritual needs.  Volunteers construct homes and shelters for the needy, run medical clinics, distribute bibles, and do community development projects. 27 berths.

is a 11m sailing boat augmenting the ministry of Amazing Grace by providing hands on sailing training to local disadvantaged students who would not have the opportunity to enjoy the water and learn about the love of Jesus Christ.

32m, is the third boat operated by YWAM Ships Mazatlan, Mexico, serving the villages up the Sea of Cortez.

a 37-metre schooner, was intended to be operated out of Newcastle and deployed to Papua New Guinea. However for various reasons, Covid 19 is one of them, they have made the difficult decision to sell the vessel and focus on the other vessels in their fleet.

a 24m ex-naval supply ship, was purchased by YWAM Switzerland in December 2021 and is currently undergoing renovation to make new accommodation on the fore deck and create dental and ophthalmic suites, plus a GP and pharmacy facilities in the main hold, before being sent to serve the medical needs of Madagascar.

This 48’ catamaran sails in South East Asian coastal islands offering aid among Muslim communities

serves out of New Zealand up into Fiji carrying Bibles and conducting water testing on wells with an onboard lab as she sails from island to island. Crew members conduct on land seminars and training sessions.

also sails in Fijian waters distributing Bibles and conducting trauma counseling for people still suffering from the destruction of a hurricane which swept through the islands two years ago.

S/y St Brendan operates out of Split in Croatia running discipleship training programs on the Adriatic Sea.

Felipe I, II & III are three river boats at the Iquitos base, Peru, on the Amazon River, These long fast boats run volunteers up tributaries deep into the Amazon and are ideal for their environment serving some of the most remote villages.

Sao Mateus, a YWAM River Boat, is a familiar sight on the Amazon carrying medical teams up and down the river for years. She is situated at the base in Manaus , Brazil, 1,000 miles from the ocean.

Australia II, a YWAM River Boat, also works on the Amazon from Manaus. She is an aluminum boat taking day trips along the tributaries of the Amazon with teams of volunteers and students.

Betesda, a YWAM River Boat, works at the mouth of the Amazon and takes medical teams for two weeks at a time deep up the tributaries ministering to the tribes along the river banks.
