YWAM Ships Kona announces that Madang will be our operational home port for the YWAM LIBERTY beginning Jan 1st, 2023.  A 50-year lease has been acquired for a dock in downtown Madang, with a warehouse formerly owned by the Lutheran Shipping Company.  Renovations of the warehouse have begun. Once completed, it will be an Oral Bible Translation Training Center, complete with classrooms, a drive-through cafe, a kitchen, classrooms, office spaces, a conference room, a recording studio, and a large meeting room for public gatherings.

Plans for the improvements will be staged, which you can see below.  Electrical have already started, painting, security fences painted, and installing water supply for the dock.
